Using AI to Transform the Management of Transplant Recipients – for UCSF Health

CloudMedx and UCSF

The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of California, San Francisco wanted to better streamline and manage the transplant process to identify high-risk patients and prioritize resources. In collaboration with CloudMedx, the two implemented the CloudMedx Clinical Analyzer into their existing workflow. The Clinical Analyzer Control Center analyzes patient records to equip clinicians, nurses, and front line staff with relevant insight to improve patient outcomes.

AI has the potential to help healthcare providers such as UCSF track disease progression as well as predict treatment outcomes for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients awaiting a liver transplant. Our platform offers insights to risk stratify, predict outcomes of treatment plans, and identify high-risk patients.

As this analyzer evolves, we will match patients (donor to recipient) through AI in order to automate and streamline this process.
